Suggestions for Language Class Use:

This is a very effective communication and collaboration tool.  You can use it to create polls to brainstorm ideas with your students; to track students’ attendance; to grade in-class quizzes; to get immediate feedback from students; to increase students’ engagement and participation.

Example:

You are going to introduce the vocabularies on colors in your target language

  • Create a PowerPoint presentation with images and colors

  • Create a poll with an open-ended question:  What color do you like? in the target language (你喜欢什么颜色?)

  • Insert the Poll into your PowerPoint presentation

  • Run the PowerPoint presentation to teach the vocabularies

  • Ask students to answer your open-ended question in the Poll

  • Let everyone in the class view the answers
