The following webinar was a part of the 2011 NOVASTARTALK Webinar Series held online in Adobe Connect. The 2.5 hour session covered the process of creating stunning, professional web
sites for use in the world languages classroom. We encouraged participants not to get hung up on the intricacies of programming and digital design – the lesson demonstrated that a polished web presence is merely a few clicks away. We covered some do’s-and-dont’s on the web, showed some excellent resources for finding images and digital media, and gave you several examples of ways that participants might integrate these sites into standards-based instruction. At the end of the lesson, participants felt confident in their skills as designers and creators of materials for better language learning.
